Yevhen Hrebeniuk, CFA, President, CFA Society Ukraine

Yevhen Hrebeniuk, CFA, has been elected as President of CFA Society Ukraine in September 2014 and currently is serving second and concluding term in this position. Prior to this Yevhen has been chairing Advocacy Committee of the Society.
In his daily job, Yevhen works at the World Bank since February 2013 as Financial sector specialist working in the team that implements reforms in the financial sector of Ukraine through the development policy loans and other World Bank instruments. Under the projects, in which Yevhen has been involved, the World Bank has lent to Ukrainian government over $1bln. Yevhen also is a Task team leader for “Ukraine Financial and Enterprise Sector Recovery and Growth Project” and manages relevant trust fund.
Prior to the World Bank, Yevhen initiated three business start-ups, worked for almost seven years as equity analyst covering banking, real estate and other sectors at the leading regional investment bank Troika Dialog and local investment bank Millennium Capital. Yevhen started his career in 1996 as professional diplomat and performed the duties of the Consul of Ukraine in Lebanon (1997) and Switzerland (1999). Yevhen is CFA Charterholder since 2012 and holds Master’s degree in International Affairs from Kyiv National Taras Shevchenko University and Master’s degree in Public and International Affairs from the University of Pittsburgh (Pennsylvania, US).
